circle and shadow experiments

method/practice/medium: carry a disc of white paper and walk into nature. treat the the circle of paper as a reception device for the shadows of vegetation, moving it in all directions until the most satisfying compositions are reached. photograph the shadow drawing. 

continue to walk through the forest, carrying the paper flat in front of you all the way. explore using the paper cycle in other photographic captures: as device to occlude the sun and moon, as contrast device to isolate vegetation.
