This project, Nocturnal Kinship: Bird to bird, is a reflection upon human-avian relationships and conditions of vulnerability.
This has been an area of focus in my artwork for many years, primarily in my Bird in Hand collage project, from which the collages illustrating each section are drawn.
Owls have been associated across many cultures with death and transition, two subjects also at the heart of this project.

I'm interested in collecting our owl encounters. If you'd like to contribute, use this google form to do so or email our.owl.encounters@gmail.com
While my owl of interest at Bundanon is primary the Powerful Owl, stories of all owls are welcome.
