the eleventh in a sequence of environmentally responsive actions undertaken at Redleaf beach in Sydney's east over the course of a 4 month residency.
method/practice/medium: seawater, watercolour, waves, watercolour paper

process/score: colour match watercolor to the chance gift of pinky-red seaweed (never seen on this beach before). Walk into the waves with the watercolour paper and let the wave action create a wet/dry tideline. Walk out of the waves with the half-wet watercolour and lay it flat on the sand. Use the water-trapping action to mark the tideline.
